This report examines recent developments in relation to present (and anticipated future) sea level, Quaternary sea-level fluctuations, the response of coastal landforms to sea-level change and the use of biological indicators of sea-level change.
This report will concentrate on aspects of Quaternary sea-level change, summaries of trends in sea-level over recent decades from tide gauges, and predictions of future sea-level change and the anticipated responses of the coast.
Cave levels and cave development in the Mitchell Plain following base-level lowering

The response of two adjacent cave systems to a single phase of valley entrenchment is examined here. The caves developed at different distances from the East Fork of the White River, the principal drainage and control on base level in the central
portion of the Mitchell Plain. They display multiple levels and distinct passage morphologies, which, it is argued, illustrate their particular reaction to base-level lowering.
