Observation of ongoing processes has been combined with demographic forecasting to determine the main trends impacting upon demographic processes in Poland up to the year 2030. This reflects the status of such processes as leading factors underpinning development and spatial management. The spatial differentiation to demographic processes and phenomena is visible in relation to the scale of units studied. This work takes account of the scope of variables describing the most important population phenomena and processes in Poland by reference to towns and cities, poviats and vovoidchips. - (BJ)
