The A. uses results from studies carried out within the RESTATE Project framework to present the attitudes of inhabitants of the North Ursynów and Wrzeciono Housing Estates to their place of residence, as well to verify the significance of selected determinants underpinning perceptions and spatial assessments. A comparison between the inhabitants of the North Ursynów and Wrzeciono Estates by reference to a synthetic index describing attitudes to the place of residence did not reveal any significant differences. From among the 5 factors influencing perceptions and assessments, 3 emerged as significant in the estates studied, i.e. age of respondent, reputation enjoyed by a neighbourhood and length of the period of resident. In summing up, the A. offers typical profiles of those evaluating their places of residence most positively or negatively. - (BJ)
