Description :
Despite the legal nature of deregulation it implies various economic, social and political as well as spatial consequences. The deregulation is a phenomenon, directly implying the character, quality, type, intensity and spatial differentiation of transport (including freight and passenger traffic) in the market economy. The paper presents an impact of the recent changes in the legal system (concerning deregulation) on the present pattern of railway connections of major carriers. - (BJ)
