The paper presents an analysis of spatial differentiation of the non-agricultural activity in the farms of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship. The authors have defined the level and structure of non-agricultural activity conducted on farms. The following factors were taken into consideration : natural, urbanization-related, historical, as well as agrarian and productive features of agriculture. It was proved that the introduction of market economy has contributed to the growth of farms' non-agricultural activity in urbanized areas (suburban zones), characterized by a higher level of socio-economic development. - (BJ)
