Nine samples of corals collected from seven locations in the Saurashtra Coastal region of India were dated by U series disequilibrium methods. Of the three agegroups reported for this region by the earlier studies of S. K. Gupta and B. S. Amin
, the AA could confirm only the 6000 yr group. Instead of a 120,000 yr group, they found a scatter of ages between 118,000 and 176,000 yr. There appears to be no evidence for 30,000 yr-old corals from this region.

the latter half of the Thai Iron Age. They also identify ecological groups and landscape partitioning patterns during that period. In particular, they record phases of human impact, with periods of forest clearance and its replacement by grasslands
The AA. present a revised interpretation of pollen analyses at Iron Age archaeological sites on the floodplain of the Mun River. They present a vegetation history of the study area that is confined to the details of land use and human impact during
The effect of income taxes on interstate migration : an analysis by age and race
Agegroup ; Decision ; Elderly people ; Income ; Induced effect ; Internal migration ; Interregional migration ; Taxation system ; United States of America ; Well-being
Income taxes have an effect on migration for most races and agegroups. Individuals move from states with high income taxes to states with low income taxes. These results corroborate the results obtained from the use of aggregate, state-level data

This paper reviews recent elderly population trends in the towns and metropolitan areas of Great Britain with particular attention to changing age-group and spatial distributions, housing amenities and long-term illness.
As American suburbs support a higher percentage of old people, a need has arisen for support services for this age-group : home health care, assistance with home maintenance, adult day care and transportation. A case study of this aging-in-place
Adoption of a multiregional demographic model to study the demographic behaviour of Hokkaido in relation to the national context. Results show a striking high rate of out-migration of young people in the 15-19 years age-group from Hokkaido
and a rapid change in age structure over the 40 - years projection period for both regions.
In this paper, ages of debris-fan are estimated from linear relation between surface age and the average depth of dissolution pits on carbonate boulders, beside the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park. Dissolution pits result from
a combination of weakly acidic rainfall and the metabolic activity of blue-green algae. The average depth of dissolution pits increases with relative age of fan surfaces. If not the result of differential preservation of fan surfaces, the clustering implies

Rate of migration and its differentiation by age in the districts. Typology of districts in term of long-term migration development. The contribution, based on the assessment of rather broad age intervals, has revealed two development stages
. As a result, the topocentric quality of the products is most pronounced in the highest age-group.
Children varying in age from 7 to 13 were asked to build a city with modeling toys. The products show a clear development with age which is described as a transition from an egocentric to a topocentric phase. The manipulation of physical structure
