Description :
Fundamental dimensions for the formation of social groups are: mobility (availability of a rapid means of transport), number of destinations visited every day, sex, income and age. Two examples are described in the form of theses, in which the supply, employment and location structures are examined. The assumption that a mixture of living and working saves time is examined critically on the basis of existing findings, differentiated according to sex. - (L'A.).
