Vegetation dynamics of several little disturbed temperate forests in east central Nepal
Auteur :METZ, J.
Description :
Study of seven stands of temperature forest at Bakum Ghyang monastery, 40 km north-northeast of Kathmandu, Nepal. Site chosen for its minimal human impact in order to understand how forests regenerate without human interference. Quercus species and Tsuga dumosa dominated the stands ; however, the former were unable to regenerate in treefall gaps and needed more severe disturbances. Detrended correspondance analysis and topographic relative moisture index are calculated. - (SLD)
