Description :
The purpose of this study is to use lake sediments, pollen, diatoms, and cladoceran remains to infer relative sea-level changes during the late Pleistocene and early Holocene in the central Puget Lowland. Such sea-level studies depend on a continuous sedimentary record. Despite the possibility of gaps in the record, these are thought to be unlikeky based on comparisons of the pollen sequence from the study site to other pollen diagrams from the region.
