Description :
The magnetic susceptibility record from Chinese loess is widely used as a proxy paleoclimatic indicator and has been used to link continental climatic history to the deep ocean record. In this paper, the AA. separate the remanence carried by superparamagneic, single domain, and multidomain ferrimagnets at low temperatures and use these as a measure of the relative importance of these grain-size fractions in the magnetic enhancement of paleosols.
