Description :
Owing to the enormous and growing financial and political importance of pension plans, the A. contends that the procedures governing the institutions are of increasing importance for economic geographers. The effectiveness of the current governance system is tested through an expert survey. The relationship between pension-fund governance and economic geography is demonstrated. The current governance models remains inadequate. A poor governance is shown to have tangible geographical impacts.
