Description :
A detailed study of the geomorphology of Lyttelton Volcano using primary volcanic landforms and the projection of associated orientations is used to identify multiple eruptive centres, and reinterpret the evolution of the volcano, which is now highly modified by erosion. Individual centres are discussed, highlighting features associated with volcanic cones, such as lava flow dips and strikes, erosional crater rims, valleys, ridges, and radial dyke swarms.
