Description :
The purpose of this paper has thus been to estimate the variability to summer-season (June, July and August) biothermal conditions in Kolobrzeg, over the period 1951-2000. Specifically, the work involved average monthly values for such meteorological elements as : air temperature, wind speed and cloudiness from the 12 UTC. The bioclimatic conditions were described by reference to bioclimatic indices, i.e. the Subjective Temperature Index (STI) and Insulation predicted (Iclp). Both trends indicate that conditions on the Polish Baltic coast in summer have become milder, especially during daytimes hours. - (BJ)
