Statistical interpretation of changes in the distribution of many land-use categories in different gminas (local authority areas) of Wielkopolska. Pearson's correlation was used to characterise changes in terms of these categories of land use and a Landscape. Transformation Ratio was then calculated. Multiple regression analysis then provided for the identification of factors influencing changes in the landscape to the greatest degree. This allowed us to compare the directions to land-use changes in urban, rural- and urban-rural gminas, and to obtain an overview of spatial differentiation of the process in Wielkopolska. - (BJ)
