Tourism and water consumption in two seaside resorts in Italy : Villasimius (Sardinia) and Lignano Sabbiadoro (Friuli)

In this paper, two Italian case studies, belonging to different types are taken into consideration : Lignano Sabbiadoro, close to the upper Adriatic lagoon system, and Villasimius, located on the extreme south-eastern corner of Sardinia. In both areas the impact of tourism and tourism related activities on water resources are analysed. - (JS)
