- The area studied is defined by the coverage of a SPOT satellite image. This image covers part of the Oudalan Province of northern Burkina Faso. The agricultural and climatological information derived from high as well as low resolution satellite
- for the utilization of satellite based and other possible information for environmental monitoring, and - to suggest a system suitable for the future monitoring of environmental resources.
