This study has sought to analyse of the stock of dwellings in the Polish city of Wrocław and the Wrocław agglomeration. The article further characterises elements of the dwelling stock in Wrocław in comparison with those in Warsaw, Łódź, Kraków
and Poznań. In so doing, use has been made of the TERYT database from the Central Statistical Office in Wrocław, as well as data from the Regional Data Bank. The analysis reflected the situation at the end of September 2008. - (BJ)
