The paper describes maps published on Polish national parks’ websites. Maps are discussed from the point of view of the technology used, range and method of presentation of the content, cartographic quality and design quality. The author describes
separately the websites, where the geographic information services were published as map servers (a solution for delivering geographic databases via the Web). Unfortunately, the conclusions are critical. - (BJ)
