The significance of soil, water and landscape processes in banded vegetation patterning
This paper aims to calculate water balance of an entire tiger bush unit, including bare and vegetated areas, to validate a rain redistribution hypothesis. They monitored measurements of runoff and soil moisture content in each zone composing a tiger
