This paper presents the results of the subproject to map portions of the riverbed which may be sensitive to vegetation expansion if flows are reduced in the future. One flow reduction scenario was developed and examined by combining field
measurements of riparian vegetation gradients and river cross-sections, digital elevation modeling, and a geographic information system.
