Supporting on analyses of some selected xerothermic vegetation complexes it has been tried to evaluate the role of primary respectively secondary geomorphological factors in their importance for establishing exposure-differentiated vegetation
catenas. A comparison of two xerothermic vegetation complexes within geographically separated areas underlines the influence of geomorphological factors.
