This research aims at assessing the contribution of sediment produced by water erosion in compounds, on footpaths and on unpaved roads in representative rural areas of the riparian zone of the Lake Victoria basin within Mayuge district. Furthermore
cultural landscapes based upon analysis of gold-rush heritage sites throughout the Trans-Tasman world. We evaluate and apply this framework to place-based case studies in Victoria, Australia and Otago, New Zealand.
