Author discusses and argues with the treatise of Igor Vrišer on dilemmas of Slovene geography. This article gives additional information on the real factual situation of Slovene geography during the period of work of the third generation of Slovene
geographers (1945-1990). He opposes some under-documented positions of Vrišer, e.g. that Slovene geographers too often got into non-geographical fields, and little usage was made of the results of Slovene geography in everyday practical life. - (L'A.).
