Quaternary landforms and sediments and morphogenetic evolution of the Hilmarfjellet region (Sørkapp Land, Spitsbergen)

Field works and analysis of air photos of the Hilmarfjellet Region (Sørkapp Land, Spitsbergen) enabled to prepare a photogeologic map of this area in scale of 1:10 000. Slopes, glacial, nival, marine, karst and valley features and sediments were
distinguished. The paper presents also a morphogenetic evolution of the Hilmalfjellet Region. This area seems to have been glaciated during the last but one (Wedel Jarlsberg Land = Riss), and last (Sorkapp Land = Würm) Pleistocene glaciations, and also during
