A preliminary study on the physical regionalization of China

Proposes modifications to the 1959 scheme of Comprehensive regionalization of China, 1st draft. The three first order regions of the old scheme is retained. They are subdivided into 14 physical belts based on temperature, while landscape
and cropping systems serve as references. Third order regions are defined according to topography , moisture conditions vegetation and soil. The country is divided into 43 regions.-(TNC)
