Adverse soil conditions and the rehabilitation of potentially severe erosion in Southern Africa
The article deals with the soil cohesion, the dispersion, the erosion, the gabion, the rehabilitation and the biomediation. The nature and characteristics of the material properties contributing to adverse soil conditions relevant
to the rehabilitation of erosion scars are considered. The case studies were the Democratic Republic of Congo, Swaziland, Lesotho and South Africa. - (IfL)
