The objective of this study is to quantify the reduction in solar radiation in nonpolluted regions caused by shadowing from adjacent polluted regions through the use of a numerical radiative model and to discuss the implications of that reduction
. A complex multi-scattering radiative model provides the major tool for this investigation.
In this paper, the micrometeorological characteristics of rubber tree stands, heat balance, radiative and aerodynamic properties are analyzed with data for three years (April 1986 to March 1989).
