Spatial development in the green heart of the Randstad: policies versus theoretical and empirical evidence
Spatial policy and actual spatial development are compared for a region under serious pressure of suburbanization: the Randstad Central Area. The planning strategy for the 1960's is compared with actual developments during that period
. The conclusions of the comparison are assessed against the new policies for urban development that have been developed in the recent series of reports on physical planning in the Netherlands. (AGD).
