spanning the years 2070 to 2099 are modelled with a conceptual hydrological model incorporating three emissions scenarios, with two global and one regional climate model. These simulated flood discharges were used as input hydrographs to model flow
characteristics with a two-dimensional hydraulic model. Differences in the spatial distribution of flow characteristics between frequent and infrequent floods were examined. Results are compared to the present-day situation and discussed.

the limits of this approach and the accuracy of the sediment budget models that are developed. The AA. aim also to assess the relationship between contemporary meteorological (climate) conditions and sediment system response.
