This paper presents an evaluation of the European Soil Erosion Model (EUROSEM) using plot data from 2 different catchments, Embori and Mukogodo, in Kenya, aimed at determining the applicability of the model to the prevailing topography, soils
, climate and land use conditions. Particular attention is given to the ability of the model to deal with different crop and vegetation covers.
