The aim of this paper is to discuss current status in spatial prediction in hydrology as related to the estimation of hydrological processes particularly in areas where a shortage of hydrometeorological data exists. Emphasis

Urban hydrology is a complex of the physical-human system representing all the changes in the region of Tokyo. The functions of the urban river have been changing due to modernization. - (SGA)
Ouvrage consacré plus à la statistique qu'à l'hydrologie, si ce n'est par les exemples traités, la présentation de l'ouvrage et l'organisation des chapitres restent très classiques par rapport aux différents livres existant en statistique appliquée.

This paper examines the hydroclimatic variability among 19 Midwestern basins and examines how the occurrence of hydrologic drought varies among these basins during the 1950-1990 period.

A physics-based Integrated Hydrology Model (InHM) was employed to conduct both three- and two-dimensional (3D and 2D) hydrologic-response simulations for the small upland catchment known as C3, located within the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest
in Oregon. Comparison of the 3D results with the 2D results clearly illustrates the importance of convergent subsurface flow. A simple infinite-slope model, driven by sub-surface pore-water pressures generated from the 3D and 2D hydrologic-response
simulations, was employed to estimate slope stability along the long-profile of the C3 hollow axis, and to study the impact of forest roads on near-surface hydrologic response and slope stability at the catchment scale.
Effects of urbanization on the hydrology of a suburban basin in Porto Alegre, Brazil in The influence of Man on the hydrological regime with special reference to representative and experimental basins.
identification and mapping of soil pipes in blanket peat catchments. This paper presents results from an experiment to test the ability of GPR to establish hydrological connectivity between pipes through use of a tracer solution.
Hydrological response units (HRU's) as modelling entities for hydrological river basin simulation and their methodological potential for modelling complex environmental process systems. - Results from the Sieg catchment

L'A. présente un concept modifié des hydrological response units pour la modélisation régionale des bassins hydrologiques en utilisant le modèle PRMS/MMS. Le concept a été appliqué à un bassin hydrologique d'environ 216 km2, celui de la Bröl, dans

Hydrology is an established twentieth-century environmental science, whose content is necessarily interdisciplinary (biology, physics, chemistry, geomorphology and, increasingly, the social environmental sciences such as planning, economics
and political conflict resolution). The 1980s and early 1990s saw debates concerning the scientific credentials of hydrology. While some argued that the nature and pace of human modification of the water cycle, together with the enormous expansion

With information assembled by university-level geography students, the A. explains a three-stage approach to creating a water atlas of the State of Ohio that included maps of geology, climate, hydrology, soils, ecology, wetlands, groundwater
To stop further deterioration of fens and fen meadows and to improve fen conservation it is accepted that there should be a better understanding of the interaction between the hydrological and soil conditions in fens. This Ph.D. thesis focuses
