The basic factors of demand for gasolene and its products are identified using a model based on spatial data, and the future needs of specific locations of the country as a whole are forecast. (EMS).
Several possible causes of the rainfall variations over South Africa are discussed. These include astronomical phenomena, the quasi-biennial oscillation and the South Oscillations. Prospects for long-term rainfall forecasts are given. (AJC).
