- In this work have been analyzed the sedimentology and micropalaeontological content (benthic foraminifers, ostracods) of two cores located at the right margin of the Urdaibai estuary (southern bay of Biscay). Four sedimentary episodes with a maximum
- episode. The core top bears fine sediment with very scarce microfauna indicative of the filling of this part of the estuary. This marsh, which is progressively isolated from the tidal influence, was anthropologically transformed from the XVIIIth Century
