A new correlation of the glacial moraines in the Southern Apennines, Italy

Description :
Three stages can be identified following the maximum expansion. The first two correspond respectively to the First and Second Apenninic Stage as described by Federici (1979), while the third may belong to the latter or to the Third Apenninic Stage. It is likely that these two stages correspond respectively to the Oldest and the Older Dryas| the third could correspond to the Younger Dryas.
