Blanket peat erosion in a mid-Wales catchment during two drought years

The aims of this study were, therefore, to provide data on the rates of organic sediment loss from an area of dissected blanket peat in mid-Wales, and to identify the processes involved. The study period encompassed two very dry years (1983-1984), which provided a useful opportunity to assess the effects of drought conditions on blanket peat.
