The loess of West Europe in Distribution and chronological problems of loess.

In spite of the debated age of younger loess, the AA. are able to present a global synthesis on the loess of West Europe. Two main loess basins exist in France. The most important is the Northern basin, continuing the sandy area of Belgium (cover sand) and the desert pavement of the Netherlands.
