A delta built by ice rafting in outflow from a glacial lake

Description :
In this note the A.A. describe a deltaic landform from which environmental assessment can be made, but with an origin very different to that of a conventional delta. Because it is formed by sediment rafted by icebergs to the outlet of a glacial lake, they refer to it as an ice-rafted delta.
