Trends in year-to-year fluctuations in surface air temperature, Canadian Arctic
Auteur :HIGUCHI, K.
Description :
Long term trends in the year-to-year fluctuations in the mean annual temperature anomalies from 1948 to 1983 were obtained for eight regions in the Arctic. The results indicate that the temperatures in the Canadian Arctic as a whole, have become more variable. The magnitude of the year-to-year fluctuation has increased quite markedly in four of the eight regions since the early 1970 s.
