Description :
Hungarian geomorphological surfaces were elevated into various positions through tectonic activity. Some were buried before and during the Neogene. Some show paleokarst surfaces. Accumulated fluvial terrace-series are found. Travertine horizons protected them from erosion. - (DLO)
