Water erosion in British farmers' fields. Some causes, impacts, predictions

The factors discussed are vegetation cover, soil surface roughness, rainfall amount and intensity, the morphology of the eroded field, soil type, crop type and how the land was worked by the farmer. Some geomorphological impacts are then described. How these factors and impacts can be used to predict the occurrence and severity of rilling in British farmers' fields is then discussed.
