Surging glaciers : geomorphic effects

Auteur :
SHARP, M.

Description :
This paper has three goals : a) to investigate the relationships between the surging behaviour of glaciers and the operation of geomorphic processes, b) to assess the extent to which surging glaciers have distinctive geomorphic effects which might permit the recognition of surges in the geologic record, and c) to discuss approaches which might be used to identify paleosurges.
