Time of maximum Late Wisconsin Glaciation, west coast of Canada

Description :
The AA. present new information on the time of the last glacial maximum on the west coast of British Columbia. They also compare the chronology of Late Wisconsin Glaciation in this area to that in the Puget Lowland and adjacent Strait of Georgia region. The data come from 1) a core from the abyssal North Pacific Ocean 180 km west of northern Vancouver Island, and 2) coastal bluffs at two sites on Graham Island, the largest island of the Queen Charlotte group.
