Reconstruction of past erosional force from tree ring information around the Rokko Mountains, Japan

The AA. investigate the ring widths of a 240-year-old tree, as well as those of 50- to 100-year-old trees in the Rokko Mountains and derived long-term trends in ring width. Rainfall characteristics and tree rings in the area just north of the Rokko Mountains, where there have been few natural disasters caused by heavy rainfall, are used for comparison.
