Climatic fluctuations in northern Patagonia during the last 1 000 years as inferred from tree-ring records

A multiple regression model is used to reconstruct summer temperature departures in northern Patagonia on the basis of tree-ring data. Finally, the temperature reconstruction is compared with other proxy records of climatic variation in Patagonia to assess its correspondence to local climatic records.
