Fission-track age (400,000 yr) of the Rockland tephra, based on inclusion of zircon grains lacking fossil fission tracks

The AA. present new ages from fission-track analyses of zircons that indicate the age of the Rockland Tephra most likely is between 370,000 and 420,000 yr| stratigraphic and magnetostratigraphic data are compatible with this range.
