Data for several rock-weathering RA parameters are compared with data on initial particle size and lithologic composition of the surficial deposits of a dated fan sequence to determine whether the multiparameter RA method can be used for discrimination and correlation of late Quaternary surficial deposits of alluvial fans and terraces in desert regions.
