In the dissertation were presented the processes of the coastal zone changes of the largest lowland reservoir in Poland on the Vistula River at Włocławek during its 20 years of exploitation. The character and rate of sediment accumulation in various parts of the aquen were determined and the components of the balance were calculated. Three stages of diverse processes of transformation of the coastal zone of lowland reservoir were distinguished and characterized. It is the first of this type dissertation in Poland. - (DG)
