Dependance of distribution of global solar radiation and its components - direct and diffused radiation on elevation above sea level, in the height profiles of polish Western Carpathians was presented in the paper. The profile was represented by 4 actinometric stations, situated on elevations from 520 to 1996 m a.s.l. Analysis of dependance was carried out for cloudless conditions, total cloudiness and average cloudiness. The measurement were carried out in 1971-1980 period. - (DG)
