Description :
This paper presents the influence of relief and geological structure of the dune-covered areas of the Vistula pradolina upon the distribution and differentiation of the surface waters phenomena and the pattern of the underground water table. The researches proved that the influence of the dunes on the distribution of underground watersheds depends on the local lithological conditions, the gradients of the underground water table, the thickness of the aeration zone, the hydrographical relations in the surroundings of the dune and the present hydrometeorological situation. - (DG)
