Supply structure of condominiums in Osaka metropolitan area

This paper aims to analyze the supply structure of condominiums in Osaka metropolitan area by examining the relationship between floor space index and unit price per m2. The A. used the method of cluster analysis. First, he focused attention on chronological change in areas where construction of condominiums took place in Osaka metropolitan area during 1976-1990. He showed that floor space indexes are higher in the direction of Central Osaka and that the unit price per m2 is higher in Central Osaka and the plateaux around Osaka citay and areas along the two private railways. - (KA)
